Certified Medication Aide (CMA) (L1MA)

About This Role

This Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Level One Medication Aide (L1MA) role involves safely administering medications to residents and assisting with daily living activities within an assisted living memory care community in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with Missouri regulations
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
• Accurately observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and food intake/output
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas
• Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours of the community as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course
• Active certification maintained in good standing
