Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain accurate medical records under the supervision of a licensed nurse as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Provide exceptional care to residents at Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Responsibilities
- Verify resident identity prior to medication administration
- Document all medications given, including dosage, route, and time
- Present medications to residents and ensure proper ingestion or application
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Document reasons for omitted medications when applicable
- Receive and restock medication supplies per facility procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and facility standards
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in the State of Montana for at least one year
- Successful completion of 80 hours of State-approved Certified Medication Aide training
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to teamwork and quality resident care
Qualifications
- At least one year as an active CNA in Montana
