Cashier/Food Service Worker

About This Role

This seasonal role involves operating a Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining cleanliness at coffee and cashier stations in a food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
• Prepare catering orders
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving
• Maintain cash accuracy with receipts and make deposits at the end of each shift
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products
• Set up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges
• Serve hot and cold items to customers
• Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred
