Cashier/Food Service Worker

About This Role

The Cashier/Food Service Worker operates the Point of Sale system, prepares coffee, assists the Chef with food preparation, and maintains cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations. This role provides service in all retail food areas, ensuring accurate cash handling and food temperature standards.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system and maintain cash accuracy with receipts, making deposits at shift end.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products, including keeping refrigerators stocked and products rotated.
• Set up serving lines, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily and record replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.

Requirements
