Cashier

About This Role

As a Lowe's cashier, you will provide a quick and friendly checkout experience, helping customers get the best value for their money and ensuring they leave on a positive note. This role supports the store's ability to serve customers and the community effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Ability to minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation

Nice to Have

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
