As a Lowe's cashier, you will provide a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience to customers. This role involves managing a cash register, assisting with payments and exchanges, and helping customers get the best value for their money.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
- Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Manage a cash register, payments and exchanges
- Answer customer questions
- Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
Requirements
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Ability to minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
Nice to Have
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bilingual skills
