About This Role

As a Lowe's Cashier, you will provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience for customers, ensuring they receive the best value and leave the store satisfied. Your role helps Lowe's positively serve its customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Engage in other activities as needed, such as helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Ability to minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation

Nice to Have

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills
