Cashier

About This Role

As a Lowe's cashier, you will provide a quick, friendly checkout experience, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied while assisting with payments, exchanges, and answering questions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Ability to minimally lift 10lbs unassisted (or over 15lbs with accommodation)
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law

Qualifications

• Entry level with preferred retail and/or customer service experience.
