This role is responsible for the direct store delivery of quality Carvel products to supermarket accounts, focusing on sales, credit volume, customer service, and in-store merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Execute direct store delivery of quality products to supermarket accounts
- Sell and deliver Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high-quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts
- Drive a Carvel Truck following safety protocols
- Manage sales and credit volume
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform in-store merchandising execution
- Manage route start times as early as 3am and average 10-12 stops per day
- Work Saturdays during peak season
Requirements
- Minimally 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to climb in and out of a truck
- Ability to carry goods up to 50 pounds
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain a CDL-B license
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Nice to Have
- CDL-B permit prior to start
- Previous DSD experience
