Caregiver/HHA

About This Role

Join our team as an In-Home Caregiver, providing essential assistance and emotional support to individuals within their homes. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry and linen)
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior

Requirements

• Familiarity with assisting seniors in activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
