Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Offer medication reminders
- Escort clients to appointments or errands
- Support mobility and home safety
- Follow individualized care plans and document activities
- Observe and report changes in client condition
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license (if transporting clients)
- Pass background screening
- A caring heart and commitment to exceptional care
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent independent decision-making ability
- Reliable transportation to client homes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Caregiving experience (paid or unpaid) a plus, full training provided for no experience
Nice to Have
- Caregiving experience (paid or unpaid)
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or mobility assistance
- CNA or HHA certification
- Enrollment/completion of a nursing or CNA program
