Join Home Instead as a Care Professional to provide high-quality, non-medical personal care to aging adults, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their homes. You will provide companionship, personal care, household support, and assist with health logistics.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues
- Provide stabilization and assistance with walking
- Prepare meals and clean up meal-related items
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
- Wash and iron laundry
- Provide medication and appointment reminders
- Run errands and accompany clients to appointments
- Provide specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice care
- Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs
- Maintain regular communication with your supervisor and the office staff
Requirements
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
Qualifications
- No experience needed; comprehensive paid new-hire training provided.
