Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures, providing patient services across all age groups while demonstrating knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices
- Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment
- Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
- Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics
- Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- BLS certified
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- No experience required
