Camp Counselor

About This Role

This role involves direct animal care, ensuring the welfare and behavior of dogs in play yards, and maintaining a clean facility. You will assist with canine care, feeding, and facility cleanliness, while also interacting with pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise the health and behavior of groups of dogs
• Assist in canine care and deep cleaning of doggy play yards and boarding cabins
• Responsible for the feeding and general care of a large volume of dogs
• Demonstrate solid team communication and leadership skills
• Engage in professional and happy conversations with pet parents during peak times
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, following defined daily cleaning and safety protocols
• Work at a quick and efficient pace

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs if needed
• Able to comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift
• Comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time
• Flexible availability of 30-40 hours per week
• Holiday and weekend availability required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
