About This Role

This role involves planning and executing purchase orders for Hercules OEM, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient material flow. The ideal candidate will analyze requisitions, monitor delivery and quality, and implement cost reduction strategies.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Process workflows for new part set-up
• Analyze purchase requisitions and place corresponding purchase orders
• Manage material plans, react to changes in demand, and expedite when needed
• Serve as point of contact for assigned domestic and international suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships, inventory levels, and high SKU counts
• Monitor delivery and quality performance
• Make cost effective decisions and implement cost reduction ideas/projects
• Identify inaccurate part settings
• Execute supplier resourcing projects

Requirements

• 3+ years related experience
• Competence using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to prioritize tasks, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Team player

Qualifications

• Two-year business degree or related discipline preferred
• Three years related experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with SharePoint
