Busser/Runner/Expo

About This Role

The Busser/Runner/Expo creates a welcoming environment for guests by maintaining a clean dining area, ensuring tables are properly set, and promptly delivering food and drinks. This individual is responsible for clearing and resetting tables efficiently and assisting with light housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is clean, free from trash and debris
• Set up tables properly
• Deliver food and drinks promptly to guests
• Assist clearing tables when needed
• Clear and reset tables quickly between seatings
• Refill beverages for guests
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as sweeping floors
• Stock glassware and ice
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly

Requirements

• Ability to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
• Basic to intermediate English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Continuous use of hands and arms
• Continuous bending, reaching and twisting

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a Busser in a full-service restaurant preferred.
