Analyze, program, configure, test, and implement cloud or on-premise software applications to support business objectives. This role involves improving business processes, managing upgrades, and customizing applications for efficiency and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, program, configure, test and implement cloud or on-premise software applications in support of business objectives
- Coordinate with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes
- Implement changes, training, and other user-focused activities
- Prepare specifications for applications/systems
- Plan, manage and implement the installation of application/system upgrades, integrations and overall maintenance of system changes
- Align the organization’s IT infrastructure with business processes/data to improve the efficiency and productivity of operations
- Research and recommend changes in application/system environment through internal customization
- Identify opportunities for increased productivity and cost reduction
- Develop programming scripts to automate functionality of business applications
- Conduct user training as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience; or Master's Degree and 0 years of relevant professional experience
- OR NNS Apprentice School graduate
- OR Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- OR Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- OR Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- OR High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
- OR High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- OR a relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of relevant exempt experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combinations of education/experience/certifications.
