About This Role

Manage all sales activities for Real Time Consulting (RTC) Engineering, from lead generation to close, focusing on Business Sales Development within the Embedded Engineering Services area. This role involves developing new business contacts, setting sales strategy, and expanding the customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling, email, and networking
  • Identify, research, and expand into new industry options for embedded systems
  • Stay continuously aware of Embedded Engineering Industry current events, customer planning, and competitor offerings
  • Understand RTC's embedded service solutions and recommend them to prospective clients
  • Sell consultatively for professional Engineering Services tailored to the Embedded industry
  • Report and present business development status of activities bi-weekly
  • Develop annual sales plan detailing activities for the fiscal year
  • Maximize opportunities to close sales and gain market share
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans
  • Leverage existing programs and relationships to win new, expanded business
  • Select and structure the Sales team to ensure maximum performance
  • Develop and mentor subordinates when necessary
  • Participate in and recommend pricing based on market, business strategy, program objectives, and costs
  • Direct proposal preparation to align with RTC business strategy and customer needs
  • Represent RTC, articulating its message and value to customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical area
  • 5-10 years' Sales & Business Development experience
  • Aerospace Industry experience
  • Proven Customer Relations experience in organic program growth
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship for employment visa status

  • MBA
  • PMP certification
  • Established rolodex within Embedded industry
