Business Intelligence Analyst

About This Role

Join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide strategic insights and analytics for our Home Lending Sales unit, leveraging data to optimize business performance, drive sales growth, and enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the collection, analysis, and interpretation of production data to support decision-making within Home Lending Sales
• Apply established analytics techniques to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop, maintain, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of sales initiatives
• Deliver recurring reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to leadership and business partners
• Partner with teams across Marketing, Incentive, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to support alignment of business objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, share insights, and support efficient implementation of solutions
• Contribute to business strategy discussions by translating analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
• Support top-line growth by analyzing key production trends, marketing approaches, and sales practices to identify optimization opportunities
• Partner with risk management teams to support analytics frameworks that identify and monitor operational risks
• Analyze customer feedback and loan officer performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience applying data-driven analysis to inform decisions and support business processes
• Experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related role within a regulated or complex business environment
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), database querying tools (SQL, Snowflake, SAS, Python), and statistical analysis techniques
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting projects that require coordination across multiple teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• 2+ years of relevant experience applying data-driven analysis to inform decisions and support business processes, preferably within financial services

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree preferred
• Direct Home Lending (Mortgage and Home Equity) sales strategy and analytics experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting or contributing to the launch of new products, capabilities, or service extensions
