Drive strategic client engagement and identify new market opportunities in the infrastructure and utilities sector, building long-term relationships and leading proposal creation for a consulting firm. This role focuses on full-cycle business development for large-scale or regulated projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities across telecom, utilities, renewables, EV, and municipal infrastructure sectors as a Client & Market Developer
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, carriers, utilities, and agencies as part of Relationship Management efforts
- Lead proposal creation and coordinate with project managers and estimators to finalize contracts
- Drive sales aligned with brand goals, collaborating with marketing and executive leadership for Sales Strategy
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and pricing strategies, ensuring Competitive Intelligence
- Manage pipeline and reporting through CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasts and activity tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5+ years in business development or sales within construction or infrastructure, preferably involving complex or regulated infrastructure projects
- Background in complex infrastructure or capital project environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
