About This Role

Perform duties as part of an industrial laundry team, responsible for the safe and accurate handling of merchandise within the facility. This role involves folding various linens, identifying quality issues, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting specified quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains)
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type
• Place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves
• Maneuver full and empty baskets
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities

Requirements

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions
• Working knowledge of basic math skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet attendance schedule
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting
• Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
