Building Enclosure Project Engineer

About This Role

Provide building enclosure engineering and consulting services across a range of projects, including field investigations, engineering analysis, design, and report preparation. This role involves both independent project work and collaboration with senior managers to deliver quality engineering solutions for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide building enclosure engineering and consulting services, including field investigations and engineering analysis
• Design and develop plans and specifications, and perform observation and inspection
• Prepare and review related reports for services provided
• Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates, and track project progress and budgets
• Research and resolve design and construction problems
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work
• Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations, and modifications
• Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members
• Interact directly with clients on developing scope of services and communicating project progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building enclosure design, commissioning and consulting
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in building enclosure design, commissioning and consulting

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in engineering
