Lead brownfield redevelopment projects and solve complex environmental challenges, focusing on assessment and cleanup for privately and publicly funded initiatives in Northeast Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage brownfield projects and mentor supporting staff.
- Prepare/review Remedial Investigation Work plans, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Work Plans/Alternatives Analyses reports.
- Develop an understanding and be aware of project-related risk and company risk policies.
- Lead safety efforts for the team and promote pre-task planning.
- Support and manage the development/refinement of investigation and remedial strategies for various sites and contaminants.
- Work as part of a team on complex regulatory projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Assist with proposals and business development activities, including attending conferences.
- Communicate project approach, findings, and recommendations to clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology or Engineering
- 8+ years of professional environmental consulting experience
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of environmental investigation and preparation/scoping of investigative and remedial strategies
- Experience in on-site implementation of environmental remedial actions and management/oversight of construction activities
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license
Qualifications
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Geology or Engineering
- 8+ years of professional environmental consulting experience
Nice to Have
- M.S. degree
- Experience with spatial analysis and visualization software such as CAD, GIS, EVS
- Willingness and ability to potentially work in unfavorable weather conditions
