As a Broker Placement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our business. You’ll work closely with insurers and producers to develop strategic plans for placing business, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your efforts will drive growth by marketing key placements, developing innovative products, and building strong relationships with insurers.
Responsibilities

- Support producers in securing new business
- Collaborate with claims team to advocate for clients during claims settlements
- Continuously expand skills through learning opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of broking experience
- Existing, successful relationships with insurance providers
- Insurance licensing essential for provincial jurisdictions
- Ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Knack for developing resourceful and innovative approaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years related experience required (or a minimum of 3 years of broking experience in the marketplace)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with insurance document management software (EPIC)
- Completion of post-secondary degrees or insurance designations
