About This Role

As the Branch Operations Supervisor at Lowe's, you will lead a team, focusing on coaching, training, and performance management to ensure efficient daily operations. This role is critical in maintaining a safe working environment and contributing to the facility's key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, train, and delegate tasks to associates
  • Follow up on daily operational tasks
  • Manage associate performance and ensure adequate department coverage
  • Maintain a safe working environment and build a culture of safety
  • Monitor production volume and allocate/reallocate operations associates to tasks like receiving, picking, and shipping
  • Ensure teams adhere to proper policies, regulations, and safety procedures
  • Respond quickly to changing workflow conditions and contribute to facility's KPIs
  • Resolve issues and address safety concerns promptly
  • Communicate business objectives and daily workload plans to the team
  • Assist associates with HR-related issues (attendance, pay, benefits, job changes, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 6 months experience providing direction or supervision to teams
  • Minimum 6 months experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring, and developing associates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility) and providing feedback, and 6 Months Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring, and developing associates

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers
  • Experience working with and communicating to next level leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and/or a Warehouse Management System
  • Bi-lingual skills (if applicable to the facility)
