About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Manager to lead, manage, and develop a diverse team, foster engagement, and drive business growth through customer engagement and operational excellence. This role is part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to achieve business strategies and drive growth.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues related to customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to make banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
  • Offer and negotiate terms for or take applications for dwelling secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and Regulation Z (LO) requirements
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent, and 2+ years of leadership experience.

  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
  • Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability, collaboration, and accountability
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute plans to achieve business objectives
  • Experience and knowledge in coaching across various customer segments
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, partners, and the community
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs and providing relevant options
  • Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and digital banking
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
  • Relevant military experience
