Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team in a branch setting, driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence. Coach bankers to engage customers and enhance their financial success through tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute business strategies and achieve results
- Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth
- Identify opportunities to make banking easier through education and demonstration of digital options
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and internal partners to collaborate for a customer-centric experience
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Ensure compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations for dwelling secured transactions
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
- Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
- SAFE registration at the time of employment
Qualifications
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience

- Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability, collaboration, and accountability
- Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan to achieve business objectives
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments (affluent, high net worth, small business)
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners, and community
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
- Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
- Relevant military experience
