About This Role

Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team in a branch setting, driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence. Coach bankers to engage customers and enhance their financial success through tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute business strategies and achieve results
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth
  • Identify opportunities to make banking easier through education and demonstration of digital options
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and internal partners to collaborate for a customer-centric experience
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Ensure compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations for dwelling secured transactions

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience

  • Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability, collaboration, and accountability
  • Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan to achieve business objectives
  • Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments (affluent, high net worth, small business)
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners, and community
  • Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
  • Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Relevant military experience
