Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team within a Wells Fargo branch, fostering engagement and commitment to business outcomes. Drive customer engagement, operational excellence, and manage resources to achieve branch network objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute business strategies and drive growth
- Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth
- Identify opportunities to make banking easier for customers through digital education and demonstration
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Ensure compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations
- Accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance)
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- SAFE registration at time of employment
Qualifications
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability, collaboration, and accountability
- Ability to analyze performance and execute plans to achieve business objectives
- Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments (affluent, high net worth, small business)
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners, and community
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
- Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
- Relevant military experience
