About This Role

Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team within a Wells Fargo branch, fostering engagement and accountability for business outcomes. Drive enhanced customer experience through a defined customer engagement process and ensure operational excellence in alignment with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and accountability to business outcomes
  • Lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drive business growth
  • Drive accountability for operational excellence, executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, audit, and escalation procedures
  • Manage the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive business growth
  • Coach bankers to engage customers, understand their needs, and proactively build relationships to help customers succeed financially
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and team/business growth to meet Branch Network objectives
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months, depending on location
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, plus 2+ years of leadership experience

  • Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success
  • Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments, including affluent, high net worth, and small business
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners, and within the community
  • Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs in order to provide relevant options to customers
  • Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees
  • Relevant military experience
