About This Role

Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports within a Wells Fargo branch, fostering engagement and accountability for business outcomes. Drive an enhanced customer experience and business growth while maintaining operational excellence and adherence to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute business strategies and achieve results
  • Coach bankers to engage customers and build relationships to help them succeed financially
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier through education and demonstration of digital options
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Comply with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations for dwelling secured transactions

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Ability to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, plus 2+ years of leadership experience

  • Ability to analyze performance and execute plans to achieve business objectives
  • Independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate
  • Experience coaching across customer segments (affluent, high net worth, small business)
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Extensive experience identifying complex financial needs to provide relevant options
  • Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
  • Relevant military experience
