Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team in a branch setting, creating a culture that fosters engagement and drives commitment to business outcomes. Coach bankers, resolve issues, and drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
- Create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes
- Lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors for enhanced customer experience and business growth
- Drive accountability for operational excellence, executing policies and procedures in alignment with regulations
- Manage the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch
- Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies and achieve results
- Coach bankers to engage customers to understand their needs and build relationships
- Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth
- Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of digital options
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations
- Meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
Qualifications
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education, plus 2+ years of leadership experience

- Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability, collaboration, and accountability
- Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan
- Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments (affluent, high net worth, small business)
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, internal partners and community
- Extensive experience in asking questions and identifying complex financial needs
- Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and digital banking
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
- Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
- Relevant military experience including working with military protocol, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting, or military experience working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting
