Lead and supervise a geographically dispersed salesforce within the veterinary supply field. Drive branch growth and profitability by developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring compliance with business policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sales plans for the branch
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans
- Develop and manage vendor and customer relations
- Manage the implementation of sales strategies and tactics
- Manage key accounts
- Define and evaluate issues, develop methods, and revise procedures within established policies
- Manage direct reports including hiring, development, performance management, and goal setting
- Ensure direct reports adhere to business policies, practices, and the Company’s Code of Conduct
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the veterinary industry and vet practices
- Prior experience in customer service and dealing directly with customers in a sales capacity
- Prior knowledge of sales and asset management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Financial management experience
Qualifications
- A four-year college degree
Nice to Have
- Previous supervisory experience
