Warehouse Associate

About This Role

The Warehouse Associate ensures customer satisfaction by accurately picking, checking, and packing orders according to specifications. This role focuses on maintaining inventory, preparing shipments, and fulfilling orders efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Pick product from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick list
• Pull warehouse items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
• Operate scanners for accurate order picking and inventory management
• Verify picked items match invoice details (manufacturer, item number, description, quantity)
• Verify expiration dates for time-sensitive items are acceptable for shipment
• Ensure all components are included for items that require them
• Count items and verify against invoice quantity
• Match shipping label address/invoice number with the invoice
• Select correct packaging, fill, and labels
• Follow regulatory guidelines when packing items with regulatory classifications
• Create proper shipping papers for packages containing hazardous materials
• Weigh packages and determine appropriate transportation methods for non-auto-manifested packages
• Verify proper labeling and apply shipping labels
• Process orders requiring special handling as requested by branch personnel, sales staff, or end-users

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
