About This Role

Join a multi-office accounting firm as a Bookkeeper, providing administrative support to the accounting team and ensuring accurate invoicing and record-keeping, primarily for non-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the general ledger
  • Process and reconcile invoices and payments
  • Generate monthly invoicing for clients
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payment and collections
  • Prepare financial statements from QuickBooks
  • Respond to accounting inquiries from clients, vendors, and staff
  • Process client correspondence and financial statements on QuickBooks
  • Inventory of audits and client information

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & QuickBooks)
  • Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field
