Join a multi-office accounting firm as a Bookkeeper, providing administrative support to the accounting team and ensuring accurate invoicing and record-keeping, primarily for non-profit organizations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update the general ledger
- Process and reconcile invoices and payments
- Generate monthly invoicing for clients
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payment and collections
- Prepare financial statements from QuickBooks
- Respond to accounting inquiries from clients, vendors, and staff
- Process client correspondence and financial statements on QuickBooks
- Inventory of audits and client information
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree is a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field
