About This Role

This role supports a multi-unit hospitality operation by managing daily financials, ensuring operational efficiency, and streamlining standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financials for a multi-unit operation
  • Ensure operational efficiency and streamline standard operating procedures
  • Track sales
  • Manage expenses
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Handle accounts payable
  • Enter general ledger entries
  • Record daily sales and reconcile POS reports

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in restaurant/hospitality bookkeeping and accounting
  • Solid understanding of restaurant-specific accounting (food cost, beverage cost, COGS, inventory tracking)
  • Familiarity with sales tax, use tax, and local/state reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior knowledge of a POS system such as Toast

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in restaurant/hospitality bookkeeping and accounting
