This role is for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to support financial operations for a client in the Farmingdale area. The position involves managing daily bookkeeping, processing payroll, and collaborating with financial and legal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks
- Post and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks
- Process payroll using Paychex
- Process 1099 forms and other required payroll documentation
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Manager to maintain accurate records
- Assist with reporting tasks
Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with Paychex payroll processing
- Handling 1099s
