About This Role

This role involves conducting functional assessments of challenging behaviors, designing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians and direct support staff in an in-center setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional assessments of challenging behaviors for assigned clients.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate behavioral support and intervention plans.
  • Support caregivers with strategies for behavior support to maximize individual and familial functioning.
  • Teach and model behavior support techniques to caregivers and direct care staff.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians and assigned clinical staff.
  • Deliver initial and ongoing Registered Behavior Technician training and competency assessment.
  • Monitor implementation and documentation (programs, targets, data) for assigned Registered Behavior Technicians and other direct support staff.
  • Meet direct care and documentation requirements for assigned caseload.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • 1 year of experience working with autism spectrum disorders and behavior change programs
  • BCBA certification
  • CPR certification
  • Valley de-escalation certification

  • 2 years working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other disabilities and co-occurring health disorders
