Serve as a remote Bilingual Spanish Interpreter, handling high-volume inbound calls and video interpreting for diverse industries. Connect individuals in the community by translating complex conversations between Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Work from home interpreting high volume inbound calls
- Handle real-time live calls on demand in a quiet home office
- Interpret Spanish/English conversations for healthcare, government, police services, insurance, financial, and travel & hospitality industries
- Interpret Spanish/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical
- Be comfortable being on camera as video interpreting will be a mandatory occurrence
Requirements
- Fully fluent in both Spanish and English
- Able to work a minimum of 25 hours a week
- Manual dexterity to type or write notes
- Reside in the United States
- Personal device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop)
- Private high-speed internet connection (satellite internet not permitted)
- Dry Erase Marker Board/Paper Shredder
- Dedicated private and quiet workspace within your home
Qualifications
- Previous experience not required, but education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset
