This role combines the responsibilities of a Bell Attendant and a Front Desk Agent, providing exceptional guest service, assisting with luggage, promoting hotel features, and managing reservations and check-ins/check-outs for guests at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and unique room features
- Promote hotel outlets and services
- Provide door assistance and luggage service, including delivery of items to guest rooms
- Store guest baggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Answer all guest questions accurately and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Make restaurant, transportation, and/or entertainment reservations for guests (Concierge services)
- Book guest reservations and/or coordinate with a reservation center
- Register guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner, using up-selling techniques
- Handle confidential guest information with a high degree of integrity
- Answer and route calls as appropriate; take guest messages with accuracy
- Resolve minor guest complaints and inform supervisor of major issues
Requirements
- High school or equivalent education
- Bell Services and/or Front Desk Agent experience
- Good understanding of hospitality industry procedures and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic computational ability and computer skills
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Experience in Bell Services and/or Front Desk Agent roles
