Banquet Server

About This Role

Serve food and beverages to banquet guests and ensure banquet functions are set up and broken down efficiently. This role contributes to creating a positive experience for event attendees.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet, including table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner
• Serve food and beverage items to guests using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts
• Prepare and set up condiments
• Break down banquet room upon completion of function; remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware and transport to dishwashing area

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Ability to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds
• Ability to push and/or pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Qualifications

• Six months of experience preferred
