Join Sheehy Auto Stores as an Automotive Detailer, responsible for meticulously cleaning and reconditioning vehicles to provide customers with immaculate cars.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes
- Apply wax to auto body and buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine
- Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove loose dirt and debris
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other interior surfaces with appropriate cleaning agents
- Apply revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot/stain-resistant chemicals
- Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and cleaning agents
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove stubborn foreign materials, following manufacturer recommendations
- Paint engine components and related parts using a spray gun, aerosol can, and masking material
- Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of the vehicle using touch-up paint
- Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles to restore color and condition
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of three (3) years
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record Check, and drug test
