Associate UX Content Strategist

About This Role

This role involves writing engaging and informative UX content for products, focusing on patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers globally. The strategist will elevate customer-centricity and inspire action by developing shared UX strategies, creating compelling digital content, and ensuring consistency in brand, style, voice, and quality, while advocating for customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a shared UX strategy by working closely with design, research, product, and other partners
• Create compelling and empowering user experiences through engaging, on-brand digital UX content
• Generate informative and persuasive content in support of positive outcomes
• Ensure all content is consistent in terms of brand, style, voice and tone, quality, and literacy/grade levels
• Strategize and define content frameworks while documenting rationales and decisions
• Execute and align teams on content strategy and UX copy
• Collaborate effectively and frequently with cross-functional stakeholders, lead the content revision process, and achieve deadlines
• Communicate content strategies in a clear and concise manner using presentation skills
• Peer review other Content Strategists' work by reviewing proposed content and providing feedback
• Actively involve and collaborate closely with key stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in UX writing/editing for mobile app based product
• Bachelor’s (or higher) in a discipline related to UX Content Strategy (e.g. Business Communications, Creative Writing, English)
• High level of competency in applied writing skills, especially writing for a lay user audience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in a discipline related to UX Content Strategy (e.g. Business Communications, Creative Writing, English)
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in UX writing/editing for mobile app based product

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of best practice Content Strategy Frameworks and Design Principles
• Foundational understanding of UX design, as well as common design tools, language, and processes
• Creativity and empathy to recognize and address the user’s challenges
• Eagerness and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly
• Basic project management skills
• Understanding of agile software development environment
• Familiarity with Medical Device development processes
• Familiarity with Diabetes
