Associate Project Manager

About This Role

The Associate Project Manager will support the development and execution of digital projects for Medscape, a division of WebMD, focusing on physician portals and mobile applications. This role ensures project consistency, compliance, and on-time delivery by managing timelines, assets, and client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Follow Medscape’s processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance
• Partner with Project Management and other departments to understand Medscape’s project workflow
• Create, manage, and update project timelines in Workfront, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of progress
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage timelines, assets, and client deliverables
• Use Workfront dashboards to monitor progress and follow up on incomplete tasks or delays
• Communicate potential project issues or timeline changes to senior team members and adjust schedules as needed
• Ensure client priorities and expectations are clearly communicated across internal teams
• Focus on delivering high-quality, error-free client deliverables that support on-time launches and revenue goals
• Conduct regular audits of project folders and maintain server organization
• Provide coverage for team members during out-of-office periods to ensure continuity of project timelines and deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in project management tools like Workfront

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Nice to Have

• Background or exposure in digital advertising, agency, healthcare, or project management
• Familiarity with marketing creative workflows
• Pharma industry or MLR experience
