This role involves supporting the design, implementation, and analysis of advisor incentive programs within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. This individual will help drive advisor performance and client outcomes by developing innovative incentive programs, tools, and analytics while collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategic design, implementation and execution of financial advisor compensation plans, scorecards and related policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing presentations and executive materials for senior leadership and field executives.
- Contribute to building and enhancing reporting and coaching models for field leaders to drive advisor performance and productivity.
- Help measure and analyze incentive program efficacy, partnering with Finance, Technology, and Data & Analytics.
- Participate in reviewing manual processes within the incentive ecosystem and help define process improvements, operating models, and requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation related to incentive transparency, balancing clear client-friendly language with regulatory responsibilities.
- Conduct industry and competitor research, sharing insights and analyses with the broader team.
- Collaborate closely with Finance partners on topics such as compensation design modeling, budget and forecasting, and analytics.
- Support the development and production of dashboards and presentations to share monthly progress with senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years in financial services industry, with a background in Finance, Compensation, Management Consulting, and/or HR
- Ability to balance multiple priorities; strong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and honesty—seeks out the truth and grounds decisions in facts
- Analytical and logical thinker, able to understand and analyze complex business processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of concision and brevity for all types of audiences
- Technically minded with intermediate to advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated history of end-to-end ownership
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build strong relationships
- Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years in financial services industry, with a background in Finance, Compensation, Management Consulting, and/or HR.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Wealth Management products and services, and fundamental business drivers
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical applications
