Associate Dean - Undergraduate Affairs, College of Engineering

About This Role

This position provides day-to-day oversight and strategic development for undergraduate programs within the College of Engineering, including outreach, international, and interdisciplinary initiatives. The Associate Dean will contribute to the College's growth, development, and effective operation by providing input and support to the Dean on various functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of undergraduate programs
• Strategically develop undergraduate programs, including outreach, international and interdisciplinary initiatives
• Provide input and support to the Dean on faculty and personnel matters
• Contribute to strategic planning and development
• Assist with administrative management within the College

Requirements

• Faculty at the rank of Professor, Teaching Professor, Associate Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Dedication to student learning and success
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups

Qualifications

• Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent
