Associate Commercial and Fixtures Quotations Specialist

About This Role

The Associate Commercial and Fixtures Quotations Specialist will develop quotations for commercial fixtures, maintain relationships with branches and vendors, and ensure excellent customer service. This role focuses on providing accurate pricing and product recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Gather required data for quote preparation, data entry of new quotes
• Contact vendors for job quotes and material pricing in a timely manner
• Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, and requirements
• Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids
• Send completed quotes to sales representatives and/or customers one day in advance of the identified due date
• Confer with subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
• Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs
• Assist Project Managers with project execution according to established project plans
• Participate in corporate-wide initiatives involving pricing functions, philosophies or processes

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and multitask, including juggling multiple, urgent requests
• Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

Nice to Have

• Construction-related quotations or estimating experience
• Prior use of Planswift, Quotesoft or similar estimating software
• Experience reading blueprints, building plans, or drawings
