Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, while leading store team members and managing the store during the Store Manager's absence.
Responsibilities
- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring
- Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, and evaluating candidates
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
- Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner
- Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently
- Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds are issued accurately
- Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
- Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy
- Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles
Requirements
- Sales Specialist Training
- Assistant Manager Certification
- RSS Certification
Nice to Have
- Certified Parts Professional Certification
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
