This role supports the Restaurant Leader in daily operations, ensuring Upholding Raising Cane's standards and culture. Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, and performance management of hourly crewmembers, alongside managing shifts and cash handling.
Responsibilities
- Hire and terminate all hourly, non-management crewmembers
- Own the onboarding, status change, and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers
- Create crewmember work and training schedules
- Manage the performance of all hourly crewmembers (e.g., development, coaching, redirective communication, and documentation)
- Act as manager on duty and open/close the restaurant
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
- Execute shift management meeting Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
- Deploy crewmembers during a shift
- Provide exemplary customer service
Requirements
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
