This entry-level Assistant Project Manager role supports the Project Management team by providing administrative and construction support, focusing on renewables projects and developing competency in essential duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes
- Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, ensuring policies and procedures are maintained
- Maintain change orders, submittal, and document (drawing) control logs
- Prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings
- Responsible for accurate and timely contract submittals
- Create and issue Subcontractors’ contracts
- Assemble and timely deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals
- Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed
- Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings for manuals
- Keep the Warranty Log up to date
Requirements
- Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant work experience
Nice to Have
- EPC experience
- Proficiency in Oracle
