Assistant Project Manager

About This Role

This role supports the Project Manager and field teams by coordinating and managing all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Assistant Project Manager ensures project documentation is accurate and up to date, maintains communication with stakeholders, and helps ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day project operations and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members
• Support in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
• Help prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and other project documentation
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve project-related issues
• Participate in jobsite meetings, safety audits, and inspections
• Maintain project files, logs, and records in an organized and accessible manner
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, contract documents, and industry standards

Requirements

• Candidates must reside in New Jersey and be within reasonable commuting distance of Edison
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction project management preferred

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in construction project management preferred
